Hottest Women Meme 2015

So it's been two years since I last quantified my sexual interest in illustrated pictures of women... time for an update!

Just missed being on the list (honorable mentions) -
Kida (Atlantis) - she's been on there since the beginning, and used to be in the top 3, but... well, there really hasn't been a lot of activity with her lately, and I haven't watched Atlantis in years.  She still kicks ass, but there's not enough slots to go around...

Seong Mi-Na (Soul Calibur series) - There hasn't been much news regarding the Soul series lately, and seeing as I never played SCV (and she wasn't in that anyway), my interest has been declining in her a bit...

Joanna Dark (Perfect Dark) - I really wanted to add Jo this time around, and was going to split her with Samus for slot 10, but that felt like cheating.  As awesome as Jo is, Samus has had more recent game output, so she just missed this list.

10. Samus Aran (Metroid series) - She's back on the list!  While I have some gripes with the latest entries in Smash Bros (see: Videogames Journal from late December), Zero Suit Samus (in the Fusion bikini~) has become my new main.  So many screenshots...

9. Shantae (Shantae series) - Shantae's sassy and sexy as ever in her latest game, Pirate's Curse, so she easily finds a returning spot on my list.

8. Jana (Jungle Girl) - I include Shanna the She-Devil on here too, at least when Frank Cho's drawing her, since they're essentially the same character.  I picked up Cho's Jungle Girl comic series about a year ago and instantly became hooked.  The character's a sexy badass, the story's enjoyably cheesy (featuring dinosaur fights, evil voodoo tribesmen, and Lovecraftian madness-inducing sea monsters), and the writing proudly revels in self-aware fan service. This is the kind of story I've been searching for~

7. Midna (Zelda series) - Midna was awesome enough in Twilight Princess, but her Hyrule Warriors version is soooooo cool.  Tough, sassy attitude, powerful ranged attacks, and that gorgeous True Form outfit, now viewable in 3D...

6. Cortana (Halo series) - I've played Halo 4 since writing the previous list, and take back whatever complaints I had about her appearance.  Yes, she looks vulnerable and frazzled at times, but she's on the verge of rampancy, and she plays a more active role than ever before, so whatever.  That final fight was pretty awesome as well... hopefully Chief finds a way to restore her in a future game.

5. Dejah Thoris (A Princess of Mars) - The original space princess.  I had seen the John Carter movie, but it wasn't until I discovered Dynamite's Dejah Thoris comics that I realized how awesome Dejah really is.  I've since read Edgar Rice Burrough's "A Princess of Mars" (the first in the John Carter series, and a surprisingly breezy read.  Very modern in its storytelling style, despite being from 1912) and a few volumes of the comics, and I love how Dejah gets to carry her own story so often.  The more recent comics have been especially good, particularly the ones drawn by Jethro Morales and Abhishek Malsuni.  Both make her very expressive (and give her a sexy build, unlike the ones drawn by Lui Antonio, where she tends to be really top heavy, or Carlos Rafael, where she tends to only have one expression... though I've only read two volumes of Rafael's work, and there was some improvement from volume 2 to volume 3, so he might have improved since then), and now I can't wait for the next volumes to come out.

4. Tyr'ahnee (Duck Dodgers) - The Queen of Mars (clearly inspired by the Princess of Mars), and one of my early crushes.  Still waiting on WB to release season 3 on dvd...

3. Jade (Zelda-based OC) - I feel kinda bad that all my Jade output lately has been naked/half-naked pin-ups, since she's a fun, cool character personality-wise... Guess I should do some writing about her sometime

2. Phoebe (Pokemon R/S/E/OR/AS) - I liked her before it was cool *SHOT*
